Hi, my name is Petru and I am currently the solo developer behind BaleYc Studios. 

Everyone has something they were obsessed with as a kid. For me it was creatures. Weird and wonderful ones. And the ocean. I vividly remember going to aquariums and seeing all the bioluminescent wonders on display.

I was truly captivated.

Fast forward a couple of years, and Subnautica comes out. And I was hooked. I couldn’t believe I could experience such a cool world in a game. And I wanted to create my own.

But while Subnautica is very well known, there are a multitude of other speculative biology projects out there that not many people know about, such as the Isla Project, Exobiotica and so many more. As with all of these amazing projects, I hope that through my creations I can inspire a new generation of aspiring world builders, be it in games, movies or any other media.
